Wow, I really haven't posted in a long time. So, i'm in Lockport, MB, Canada. Been jobless since the middle of april. That's fun except I'm getting bored now. Don't know if we are going back to nj anytime soon. Well, saw the Sex and the City movie today. It was good. Trevor didn't think so but I was kinda limited with who I could bring out here. I felt it did a good job of contiuing the story but didn't really leave everything with an end. At least it wasn't a let down. And for not saying anything in awhile, I sure don't know what to say. Maybe it's because of where I am. Winnipeg is nothing like NYC. :(

ok..this is x-posted in myspace.
Ok, so I caught a bunny today... ok, fine, I caught a bunny today that my cat let go in the house. I was happy for a minute petting a fuzzy bunny though.
I used to stand outside trying to catch rabbits when I was little. I would put a shoe box propped up by a stick with a string attached to it on the ground. I would then hold the string end and hide behind a tree. I think I would put some veggie in the box. Needless to say, I never caught anything. (no one told me those ideas from cartoons didn't work, but my mom still laughs about it to this day)
At least we were able to save this rabbits life. It was small though and hopefully the cat doesn't get it again and kill it this time.
And now my shoulder hurts from bending many ways and trying to grab the rabbit from tiny corners. Ugh.. time to take painkillers and lie down.

I really don't update this enough. Today we had company over. One of my moms good friends passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, so she decided to invite her husband and daughter over. We caught up on so much. The daughter, Karen, is a great person and it has been so long since I saw her but we had a lot of fun just talking. Turns out she has some things in common with me so maybe I'll give her a call in the summer to do some things. I went to see Trevor up in Canada last week. I miss him. I should have never let him go back up there. He finally just got a job this week so he will work a little, get his license back and get a passport and hopefully he will be back here in the summer. I can't wait. Hopefully by that time i'll find a place to move out to and everything will be better. So, i went up to the Woodbury Commons yesterday after work to see if i could find my mom something nice for a good price. I went into the Harry and David store and bought candy I shouldnt have. Luckily it was only chocolate covered cherries and raspberries (turns out they are really apples but they lie in the name) and dried mangos which are so good, they should be candy, not dried fruit. All the items are so sweet you cant really eat too much so it is going to take us a while to eat all of it. I then headed into the Coach Factory store (after browsing in the Kate Spade store which I fell in love with this green purse i saw in there for $150.. i talked myself out of buying it cause I wasnt sure what else I would buy while i was up there). I didnt really see any purses I had to have but came upon sunglasses which i hear are hard to find in outlets. I fell in love with a pair of Evas. They have little dragonflies on the sides and are really cute. they were more than 1/2 off so i couldnt resist. I was looking into getting a new pair of sunglasses anyway and i saw a cute pair of Fossil ones but for like $20 more, I got these. They come in a hard case that will keep me from scratching them up. I'm so excited about them and they actually look cute on me. oh, here they are http://www.coach.com/assets/product_images/drilldown1/s436_d1.jpg
oh, got to do a bunch of things up in Canada. Went to see 300 (which was great, specially all those half nekkid buff men >.>) and Grindhouse (gotta love gory cheesy horror films. The little motor bike part just made me crack up laughing). Also got to go to the Museum of Man and Nature up in Winnipeg. They had this CSI: Manitoba thing going on that you had to solve the "murder" to win a trip to either NYC, Miami or Las Vegas. Of course you had to be a Canadian resident to win so i just put Trevor's mom's name in but had a lot of fun doing it. They also have a full size replica of a pirate ship up there, called the Nonesuch. It was built in 1968(give or take a year or two) and sailed to Europe and was sent back to the states, did a tour there and toured around Canada to be placed in Winnipeg and then the museum (or the room, not sure which) was built around it. It's pretty cool. You can even go on it. The bunks are so tiny and the stairs are so steep. But you can pretend you are a pirate.. yar! anyway, i think thats it.

Being that Sat is my last night in NJ until 2007, I convinced a bunch of people to go to QXT's that night (that is where we are going stacy, btw) because some people mentioned they wanted to go and haven't ever been. I'm thinking it is going to be 7-8 people (maybe more, maybe less). I leave on Christmas Eve for Winnipeg. My connection is in Chicago and I think it's only an hour. I got the tickets through United. If i had gotten them through NWA like i usually do, i would have been stuck in Minnisota for 5 hours. Not to say I would mind too much but after 2 hours, that place gets boring. Trevor's friends are having a party for New Years. Two years ago when I was there for that time, I had so much fun. I'm actually looking forward to it. I always have horrible times for New Years here in jersey. His friends are a lot of fun, too bad they don't live closer.
So, i went out every day this weekend. drinking, drinking and more drinking! It was crazy. By sunday i didnt want to drink anymore. We met Heather at the bowling alley on friday, then we went to hoboken on sat and back to the bowling alley on sunday. I know hanging out at the bowling alley drinking is kinda lame but she had to bowl and I had nothing to do. I dragged Daichi along and we met up with other people. ok..i better get back to work. this is the longest update i have had in awhile...amazing

Time for a short update. I miss Trevor :( I'm going up to be with him for 2 weeks from the 24th to the 7th of Jan. I really wish he didn't leave but he wasnt working, the whole green card takes forever, besides how much it costs. Maybe we can save a bit before we do that or before we figure out what we are doing. I don't know if i mentioned the RCMP on my lj yet but he is thinking of joining that cause they get starting 40k a year and within 3 years all the way up to 70k. I checked this on their site because i was told 60k a year start but what i found out wasn't bad. it could support the two of us, especially in canada where the living expenses are cheaper than the nyc area. I just want to be with trevor that I don't care if i move away. I hate being lonely. So, we finally got the internet fixed at work. it was the network card (which is what i told my bosses when i called gateway to try and fix things). the computer guy had me install this usb device that connects to the router wirelessly. its kinda cool. looks like one of those usb flash drives. it was fun setting up, i like new technology. so, i'm gonna get out of here now. it's been a long day. if anyone wants to get together before i leave, i'll make plans with you on the 23rd. Call me!

I don't do this often enough. It;s that I forget and then when I remember, I don't have time. Trevor is going back to Canada at the end of the month (so anyone who wants to get together, give me a call cause he is leaving the 29th). He needs to get some things done (get his license back and get a passport cause they are putting the rule into effect 1/1/07 for needing a passport when traveling to Canada). He wanted me to quit my jobs for 2 months and come with him (he guesses he is only gonna be there 2-3 months) but it isnt financially smart for me to do that. I finally agreed to go for 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years (and gotta prepare myself for the 40 below weather there during that time.. ugh). I wish he wouldnt leave beccause I'm afraid he wont be able to come back. We have been putting off getting the paperwork done to get him a green card cause it's so expensive, i need tax returns for years i dont have and the passport thing. Mabe we will try and get it done while he is up there. It's harder for some of it but if they accept the application, he will get a temp travel visa. Why couldn't i have fallen in love with an American. I'm sure he is thinking the same thing about me not being Canadian. Oh well, back to work.

darn cat stepping on my keyboard. Anyway, I got 4 tickets to see 30STM and so far know i am only going to use2 of them. Only reason i bought them was because they were $2 tickets. So all for tickets cost me aroiund $13. So, if anyway wants to go to see them at Roseland in nyc on oct 27th (its a friday), you dont have to buy them for $20something each. Just let me know if you want to go.

So, Trevor and I saw Sweeney Todd on broadway last week. It was great. How many plays are there where they murder people in it? not many. the greatest part of all of it is that it was so funny. They called it a musical thriller but they should have called it a musical dark comedy. Compaired to Wicked, which i saw a few weeks ago with my mom, this play was many times better. I felt like i was watching some high school performance with Wicked but this was so well done, i felt like i was watching professionals. I really thought Wicked was over rated and the actors weren't that good but my mom liked it so much i thought maybe it was just my mood. After seeing another play so soon afterwards i know it wasnt my mood. So, Sweeney Todd closes in a week. it is sad cause i would love to recommend it to people so they could see it but you can only do that if you have time to run to it from mon-sun. So, have been hanging out with old friends. It is nice because i forgot how nice it was hanging out with a lot of people.

I got this from a 30 Seconds to Mars email.
The Red Planet rises!
MARS
We will never see this again in our lifetime
...nor will the people of the next 50-to-100 lifetimes!
The Red Planet is about to be spectacular!
This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again.
The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification...
Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye .
Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at 10p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m.
By the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30a.m. That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month.
Share this with your children and grandchildren.
NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN

Because of Stacy's post about everyone on lj, I decided to update. Yes, I should have updated many times already but I seem to have the time to glance through everyone else's ljs but forget the time to update my own. So Trevor and I eloped last week. My family was there and Stacy. My uncle married us in his back yard and it was very quaint. Everyone enjoyed it but considering it wasn't up to par with what I had in mind (like all my friends being there), we are still going to have a big wedding next year. I still need to plan that one. This time all of Trevor's friends and family can have the time to find out and go considering they are all in Canada. Well, we are leaving for Winnipeg and Edmonton, Canada for 10 days tomorrow. Hopefully Trevor doesn't get detained in Winnipeg on our way home cause we haven't had time to file any paperwork to keep him. If he does get stuck there (well, considering it is where he is from it won't be too bad) he can file paperwork through the consolate there. Well, I better start packing. I think we should enjoy this trip a bit since it will be the closest thing to a honeymoon for awhile.

wow....another update from me, in a one week period. I think hell has frozed over. Actually I'm slacking a lil at work because I can. It is freezing in here cause I don't know how to turn on the heat. I think I might have to go find a sweater in my car. So, this weekend was fun. Went to see Silent Hill on friday and for most of it it was scary and like the game but not quite as scary. I can't finish any of the SH games cause they make me jump too much. Considering I cant beat any, I don't know how the first one ends (though i know how the second one begins so I'm a lil bit knowledgable)so I don't know if they stuck with the ending but I think they did. It was a pretty good ending though most of the theater didn't like it. I think I pretty much liked the movie because it did give me that creepy feeling during a lot of it and wow, they got the monsters in the game right on. On saturday, Trevor, Stacy and I went to see Daichi's cover band play in Hoboken. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet new people. I like meeting people (especially when they are nice). The band was great, i think. I got a wee bit drunk and had a nasty hangover the next day but I had a lot of fun. I miss hanging out with my friends. Which reminds me, we are going to Hooters this week, right Daichi?
OMG! The power just went out and I got all annoyed because I was about to hit update journal and the computer turns off. Turns out it saved all my work. Now I am happy again. Gonna hit post before it happens again. Stupid weather.

Well, it has been awhile since I have updated. Right now I am at work (my new job). it is so nice having internet access at work. I might be able to update this once in awhile from here but usually I am too busy and one of my bosses is around (being it is their house). I work in a home office but they are hoping to expand enough to get a office outside the home. So, right now they are on vacation in Ecuador for a wedding. So, for a whole week, I have their house all to my own.. It is kinda creepy here all alone. Especially because I had to go to the bathroom and *gasp* no more toilet paper left. So i went in search of some and found nothing but creepy noises. I guess next week I will bring some with me since I will have to be working all week. So the Bergen Mall Stride Rite is closing at the end of this month. They are actually going to be closing to the public on saturday. I have to go in and get my microwave considering they took me off my last day there and now i have to go to wyckoff. I'm actually glad they are closing because i hated going from this job to that one every day. It is really depressing though considering I've been working in the bergen Mall for almost 11 years. so sad... I really should just quit wyckoff too but I'm stupid i guess. Well, not so stupid. this job is off the books and that one isnt so i have some money going to taxes so the government doesnt wonder. Anyway, back to work. lets hope i don't have to go to the bathroom.

Go to Wikipedia and look up your birth day (excluding the year). List three neat facts, two births and one death in your journal, including the year.
January 29 facts: 1595 - William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet is probably first performed.
1929 - The Seeing Eye Dog organization is formed.
1978 - Sweden outlaws aerosol sprays due to their harmful effect on the ozone layer, becoming the first nation to enact such a ban.
births: 1737 - Thomas Paine, American patriot (d. 1809) 1945 - Tom Selleck, American actor
death: 1963 - Robert Frost, American poet (b. 1874)

Well, I has been way too long since I have updated. For all of you who don't know (that I guess I haven't told) Stride Rite in the Bergen Mall is closing. Yes, it is sad cause we all need to find new jobs but a nice kick in the ass to move on. I found a new job so I am currently working two jobs. It sucks because finally I find a new job and HK and DR decide they want me to work. They FINALLY give me hours (after months of only 1-2 days a weeks) and that means i have to go from my new job to my old job so i will be working 10-9 every day. UGH! They tried to get me to come in today but I went to the Met with Trevor (his idea. i told him about the Egyption exhibit a long time ago and he mentioned it this week that he wanted to go). After so many months of me asking for hours and Diane telling me it was rough on her not to give people hours and HK telling me to find another job and work both places, i think it's fair of me not to go out of my way for them anymore. I'm still pissed and one of these days it will push me to the point of quitting (i have come close already but because i didnt have another job, i stayed). Well, about this new job. It is for a construction company (well, its a small company, so i am basically working with the wife of the guy who owns it. they are really nice people though and it is really weird to have my bosses be nice... totally weird). It isn't far from Stride Rite in wyckoff so i kinda know the area. The only downside (i guess it could be an upside in some ways) is i will be off the books there. I guess if i do get let go from Stride Rite, i'll be able to collect unemployment. That would be nice but HK likes to screw us all and he will prolly try and keep me on one day a week and never fire me. I hate him, i really do. Anyway, though our feet hurt, heather wants us to go bowling tonight. gonna have to think about it.
